Podium Finish at the 5th Hungarian Industrial Custom Machine Grand Prix – Öntőgépszerviz Kft.'s Waste Baling Machine Among the Awardees!

This award recognizes not just a machine, but also our team's commitment, innovative approach, and high level of engineering expertise. Our achievement in a strong field of 116 entries proves that the Hungarian machine industry is capable of creating world-class solutions.

The Award-Winning Machine: A Solution to a Complex Industrial Problem

The awarded Waste Baling Machine was created to meet a real industrial need: solving the waste management challenges of plants that produce cathode foil for battery manufacturing. The large quantities of aluminum foil scraps generated during production occupy enormous space without compaction, and their handling and transportation are difficult and costly.

Our custom machine provides an effective answer to this challenge:

• Significant Cost Savings: By reducing the volume of waste, transport and recycling costs are drastically lowered.
• Environmental Protection: The handling of tidy, baled waste is cleaner and less polluting.
• Efficiency: Thanks to its automatic cycles, the machine can process large amounts of waste with minimal human intervention.

Innovation in the Details

The jury evaluated entries based on criteria such as innovation, uniqueness, utility, and cost-effectiveness. The key to our machine's success lies in its unique technical solutions:

• Separating Cyclone: The core element of the machine is a specially designed cyclone that can efficiently separate foil scraps as thin as 12-50µm, even with an airflow of 11,600 m³/h.
• Intelligent Compression: Since the density of the incoming material varies, creating a single bale may consist of multiple compression cycles. The compression force (up to 50 tons), bale thickness, and lubrication cycles are all adjustable via a touchscreen interface.
• Reliability: Vibrating motors mounted on the sides of the cyclone prevent potential blockages from the foil scraps, and the gaps between the compression plate and the machine body have been minimized to ensure long-term, reliable operation.
