Results of the Support: Lifesaving Developments

We are proud that thanks to numerous donors, including our support, a specially equipped Intensive Care Unit (ICU) was inaugurated this year, bringing key developments to the care of critically ill children:

• Protected Environment for the Most Vulnerable:

  It is now possible to isolate children undergoing intensive care treatment for oncological diseases and bone marrow transplants in a positive pressure, so-called "germ-free" area. This air technology solution is crucial for preventing severe, potentially life-threatening infections.

• Isolation of Infectious Patients:

  Equally important is the separate treatment of infectious patients, enabled by negative pressure ventilation technology. This system requires well-sealed, air-locked wards to operate.

These technologies ensure that the Heim Pál Children's Hospital can remain the highest-level national base for pediatric care.

Recognition and Commitment

Our Managing Director recently visited the hospital, where he met with Mr. János Pataki, Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Mr. János Pataki and his colleagues presented the refurbished facility and the specialized ward. During the meeting, our Managing Director received an official Certificate of Recognition for our generous donation.
